O Christmas Tree

This past weekend my roommates and I drove to Heber and cut down our own Christmas tree! We snowshoed in a few miles to find the perfect tree, cut it down, and drank some hot chocolate before carrying it back to our car.

These are my new roommates around our Christmas tree. (Amanda, Cherise, me, Heather)

    What a fun way to get a tree! My life's Christmas tree hunting has been in a tree lot with no snow in sight. This Thanksgiving I was in Oregon and went with some family to a tree farm where we picked and cut one (still no snow though)... but maybe someday I'll get an experience like yours. That just looks so officially Christmas to me. :)
