In case you doubted my strength...
Clay, Jessie, and I hiking in.
Last year the campground in Havasupai was flooded so the once green and lush surroundings now look a little like a refugee camp. Jake is commentating on this video.
Havasupai is known for its waterfalls. Here were some of my favorites. The ladies overlooking Mooney Falls (Annie, Cherise, Jessie, Lani).
The hike down to Mooney falls and playing in the water
The next day we tried to hike down the river to Beaver Falls. We never found it, but we had a great time hiking.
Can we all fit on the same rock?
Jumping off the rope swing!
The group in front of Havasu falls.
Exploring an old mining cave.
Stopping for a picture along Route 66.
Annie-what fun pictures. Looks like you are enjoying some fun adventures. It looks like a good group of friends, too! Chad's family has been to Havasu a couple times and they always talk about it. I'll tell him you went and he'll be so jealous! The waterfalls are incredible.
ReplyDeleteMan, who is that red-head in all your pictures. She looks like a pretty cool girl... ha ha!
ReplyDeleteNice blog. I can't wait for adventure #3!
Wow, I love the pics! Looks like it really was a blast! I am so glad you had fun. Miss you!
ReplyDeleteIf you guys are a family who is mom? who is dad? who are the siblings that argue all the time?
ReplyDeleteI am glad you guys had such a wonderful time:)
Looks fun, I want to go:)
ReplyDeleteWe've been wanting to go to Havasuapi for a while. We actually had reservations for May but had to cancel. Hopefully we'll make it down there soon. Looks like you're having a fun summer. Are you ready for school to start back up?
